The Artemis Collective Community

Welcome to the Artemis Collective Community (ACC) of New Hampshire.

What is the ACC?

At the present moment, it is a dream. A dream of a place where strong and courageous women can live collectively, yet independently; both supporting and nurturing the collective and each other, while also being able to maintain and pursue our individual passions. This place will be a sanctuary created by and for women, rooted in values of feminism, connection, sustainability, and empowerment.

Resident-members will work together towards community goals, with each member being able to offer her own unique talents and gifts (Are you handy? Have a green thumb? Good with numbers? Love yard work? Etc.). More importantly, we will always foster a supportive environment where collaboration replaces competition. Daily life is shaped by rhythms of the land and the cycles of nature, blending practical self-sufficiency with spiritual and emotional nourishment.

Who We Will Be - The Vision

We will be a collective of women choosing to live in harmony with one another and with the land. Our community will built on values of cooperation, sustainability, and mutual respect. Together, we will create a safe, supportive environment where each woman’s gifts are honored and celebrated.

We will cultivating a way of life that nourishes body, mind, and spirit, honors and respects the earth and all life. Through shared work, creativity, and connection, we will co-creating a sanctuary for healing, growth, and especially, empowerment.

The ACC will be formalized as an LLC structure, and all resident-members will have an equal share and voice. Financially, each member will make an initial buy-in investment, which will include a portion of the downpayment of land, their individual dwelling, and other up-front infrastructure costs will be required, TBD pending property identification. The goal is to be operational by the end of 2027.

What We Will Offer

• Separate Living Spaces: Tiny homes or cabins with both private and shared gardens and gathering spaces.

• Occasional Community Meals: Shared meals for meetings or gatherings & celebrations, and perhaps the occasional pot luck - just because!

• Cooperative Decision-Making: Consensus-based governance where every voice matters.

• Creative & Spiritual Expression: Opportunities for art, music, storytelling, ritual, and seasonal celebrations.

• Connection to Nature: Organic gardening, herbalism, sustainable building, solar energy and land stewardship. And the mountains!

• Support & Sisterhood: A culture of respect, inclusivity, and care, where women lift one another up, free from patriarchy and marginalization.

• Alone Time: You are free to be as independent and solitary as you need; as long as you can work cooperatively when necessary.

• Tiny Home Parking Rental: Can't or prefer not to join as member? We may be able to accommodate space to park your tiny home in the future. Stay in touch!

We value diversity and seek members who share our commitment to cooperation, ecological living, and respect for one another.  We welcome women who are ready to share skills, energy, and heart in creating a thriving, sustainable, and joyful home near the beautiful mountains of New Hampshire.
